So far it has been a great phone. Responds quickly with minimal load on my more demanding games. The battery charges like a madman. If you're in a rush and forgot to charge it overnight, this will have your back. The screen is crisp and touch response is excellent. So glad I gave this older flagship a try

I had one of these and one day realized. this is the longest I have ever owned a phone without any issue. It seems that oneplus goes way beyond other manufaturers and keeps their phones up to date with latest android long after the model has moved on. I gave mine to my daughter who seems to go through phones like tissue paper and she has now owned it longer than any phone she has ever had. I bought another for my spouse and another for one of my other kids. I dont know if all OnePlus devices are this good but this one definitely seems to be an amazing one. not only rugged but the camera is fantastic, the usability fast and responsive. just an over all amazing phone. Highly recommend you get a magsafe case for it and a magesafe charger stand. so easy to just slap it on the stand at night and let it charge wirelessly.

So far it works ok, the phone came completely dead and it took 7 minutes for the charging indicator to appear. For those not aware, this is terrible for the battery and it's longevity.The phone got so hot while performing the initial charging that it literally could not be held and I was afraid it was about to go up in flames.Since charging, it has reset and turned off multiple times now while in the middle of a task (and not software update related).Time will tell.
