      Can't really mess with perfection

I used this phone on its launch, like any other LG phone I'd had. I put that phone through ****, repaired it a couple times myself, but generally didn't think much about it. I hadn't realized how much I had gotten used to the solid usability and quality of LG's phones until they decided to stop making them. When that happened, I thought I NEEDED to move to a different phone. So, I jumped to a Google Pixel 7, thinking I'd never look back. That was two years ago. Here I am, clawing back to this outdated, obsolete phone. It is maxed out at Android 12. And you know what? It still kicks most modern phones where it hurts. The screen, the features, the connectivity, all of it were cutting edge five years ago, but now it's just a well rounded, fast, solid phone.I've had this misfortune of needing to switch from my Pixel 7, which suffered water damage from an amount of water this phone would LAUGH at, to a Motorola moto g 5G, which is like a brand new Versa versus this thing's 5-year-old GTR. There's...just no comparison. The old talking points still apply. The camera, though obsolete by certain standards, is still masterfully detailed and very fast despite taking VERY large-sized pictures. The compute power is no longer top contender material, but it runs everything still, even more modern mobile games. Quad DAC and 3.5mm port, so audio is STILL STILL STILL in a class of its own! IN 2025!!! Phone manufacturers, what are you doing?? This phone wasn't even top 5 most expensive when it came out, and they STILL had a high end DAC in it?!Most everything else is what you'd expect: 5G and WIFI6, NFC and wireless charging, USB-C rapid charging, a MicroSD slot, 128GB of storage which is a little underwhelming these days but serviceable, and still receiving Google Play updates at least. Just know, this will be officially end of life for support next year, so definitely weigh that out with the price. It was an easy choice for me, may not be for you. Just know, this phone is solid, and will serve you well.

Second phone I brought from this company with battery issue

This is the second phone I bought the first one took long to charge to 100 I dealt with it and I got the phone. Now the second phone I bought from the same source took 24 hours just to charge for 70%. So I'm dissatisfied at this point. The battery charging test was the first test I did, and I was not expecting the same results. And it's an awesome phone so it's sad to be without a phone again.

      Last of it's kind

I wish LG could continue their G and V line of phones, but can't have everything. The Quad DAC is to die for and overall performance does everything I need. I will either use this phone until it's obsolete or upgrade down the line. Only options I'm curious about is the Xperia line from Sony or Zenfone from ASUS.

      Cell2Get Since 2005

      • Cell2Get is known for offering unbeatable prices on a wide range of unlocked cell phones, accessories, and wireless devices. We provide competitive deals on both new and refurbished phones, often beating retail prices from major carriers.

Thinking about getting a new phone?

Thinking about getting a new phone? but not sure what unlocked really means? Or whether you should go with Android, iPhone, or even a Windows phone? Let me break it down for you.

First off—unlocked phones. That means the phone isn’t tied to any one carrier. You can use it with AT&T, T-Mobile, or even pop in a SIM card when you travel internationally. Total freedom, no contracts, and way more flexibility.

And if you’re looking for unlocked phones, Cell2Get.com is the place to go. They’ve been in business since 2005 and they have an amazing selection.

Now, let’s talk about phone types.

Android phones—these are made by companies like Samsung, Google, and Motorola. They’re super customizable and give you a lot of control over how your phone looks and works. Tons of choices, both in features and price.

Then you’ve got iPhones—Apple’s iOS. Super smooth, really secure, and everything just works. If you already use Apple products, iPhone fits right into that ecosystem.

And yes, Windows phones are still around too. They’re less common, but if you like the Microsoft experience and want something different, they might be for you.

So whether you’re Team Android, Team iPhone, or something else—Cell2Get.com has unlocked phones for all of them.

No contracts, no restrictions—just the phone you want, ready to go.
