I give it 5 star so this post can reach many people of my exprience with this device.I strongly advise against purchasing this phone. Here’s my experience:I bought this phone in February, and it came with a 1-year warranty. After just three months of use, the phone prompted me to update its software. Following the update, a green vertical line appeared on the screen. My phone has always been in excellent condition—no scratches or damage—so I was surprised to encounter this issue.After doing some research, I discovered that many users have faced the same problem after updating their phones: a green line appears and doesn’t go away. Over time, additional lines show up, and eventually, the phone stops working altogether.Since my warranty was still valid, I contacted OnePlus for support. However, because my device is U.S.-based, they informed me that they could only repair it if I were in the United States. As I am not based in the U.S., they refused to provide any assistance.This is not my first disappointing experience with OnePlus. I previously owned a OnePlus 8T, which had similar issues. Believing it might have been a one-off factory defect, I upgraded to the OnePlus 8 Pro, only to face the exact same problem.To make matters worse, I asked the OnePlus agent if I could send the device to a service center in the U.S. at my own expense via DHL or FedEx. They declined my request, insisting that I must be physically in the U.S. to claim the warranty.I am thoroughly disappointed and will no longer recommend OnePlus devices to friends or family. This experience has left me completely done with OnePlus products.

In perfect shape! Got updates for years! Some very light scratches on them front display from hard use! And the paint is worn around the charger port. And the battery doesn't last all that long anymore but it took 3+ years of hard power heavy use to get there! I'll keep using it until it's dead! Highly recommend! Best phone I've had bar none. Extremely reliable!

I've had this phone for a couple of years at this point and it hasn't failed me yet. Still works fast and I haven't run out of storage. I use a case with it but even then screen hasn't scratched or cracked with my fumbles and dropping it. Looking forward to my next oneplus phone in a couple years.

This phone has been a workhorse. It was a solid week after I received it before I put a SIM card in it and started carrying it because I needed the time to modify and secure it, and test it to be certain it WAS secure and would not spy on me.The phone, out of the box, cooperated with my efforts to modify it. It was not filled with bloatware to begin with, but also could be easily rooted and then modded at a deep level...many brands (*koff samsung*) fight you on this. I have now been carrying it for almost 3 years and it has functioned perfectly.Camera is very good. Not the best I guess but certainly good enough for me.I run the battery between 75% charge and 35% charge which is good enough to take me through the day (given that my mods keep all the spyware from running) and consequently the battery has shown no signs of deterioration.I was a bit leery of a chinese phone, which the OnePlus certainly is, but I have encountered no trouble controlling it and it does not contain any hidden spyware or backdoors.I'm a software developer and expert in pretty much all aspects of the technologies that you need to understand in order to understand, analyze, monitor, and control these phones, so if there was something untoward going on I would know about it by now.I recommend the OnePlus brand based on my experience with this device. If nothing has changed with later phones, this brand is an excellent deai.

All-time best phone... Love it. Light weight.. Highly recommend this...
